The Friends of Snowsports role is to assist the Master in Charge with various school snowsports activities. The Friends of Snowsports specifically assist with the running of the Welcome and Registration BBQ in Term 1, the Second Hand Snowsports Clothing and Equipment Sale, the running of the Redlands Cup, organising parent volunteers for Interschool races and organising the end of season Snowsports function.
The group meets on the first Monday of the month during Terms 2 and 3.
All parents are welcome to come along and assist as they can.
Redlands
not only has one of the most active and successful snowsports programs,
but we also have the most fun! We have great talent in all disciplines
as well as some wonderfully talented teachers who support our students
all the way. The Snowsports program offers students the chance to
compete and train outside of our winterschool program. The program
enables students to compete in the regional events right through to the
nationals.
Of course this program would not be possible without
the wonderful dedication of the parents who go to great lengths to
ensure the success of the Snowsports program.
