Thank you for joining us for the 'Redlands Cup' Invitation Ski/Snowboard Races celebrating its 16th anniversary in 2013.
The
'Redlands Cup' will be held on Tuesday 9th July from 7.45am. Start
lists, race bibs and course details will be available at the Redlands
marquee between the ticket office & the tennis courts at Valley
Terminal base of the Crackenback Lift - weather permitting.

Will be in Thredbo from Sunday July 7th, displayed in the Crackenback Ski School Ticket office window.
Race Details:
Weather permitting racing will be accessed via the Snowgums Chair Lift. Alpine course inspections will be at 8.15 am and race starting time is 9.00 am sharp. Depending on numbers there will be 3 courses: Alpine Div 1 & 2, Alpine Div 3, and Alpine Div 4 & 5. Snowboard all divisions 10.30am (most likely) course inspection with race start at 11am.
Helmets are required for all competitors.
The event and courses will be set subject to weather and snow conditions.
Each racer will have a reverse order second run. Late entrants will run last.
Team placings are best 3 of 4 Alpine, 2 of 3 Snowboard times for both runs.
The 'Redlands Cup' race rules are based on the Interschools rules (on web).
On the day we will attempt to facilitate but cannot guarantee that students entered in both Alpine & Snowboarding events will be able to run in both.
Awards:
4:30pm at the Thredbo Leisure Centre (AIS)
Remind your competitors to turn in their race bib at the presentation to receive their participant event award.
Four Perpetual Redlands Cups awarded for the fastest individuals:
Alpine - boy & girl.
Snowboard - boy & girl.
These individuals must be a member of a team that has the minimum number of competing participants.
Also to be awarded, but only to those at the presentation, vouchers for a pro-deal for Head Skis or Snowboards, Carerra Helmets & goggles, Reusch gloves, vouchers to One Track Mind Snowboards store and more.
